Thursday, August 28, 2008 For I just acquired my killing set!!! MUAhHAHhHAHhhHAHhahhahHAHHAH!
In other news, the other day in pastry, we did fruit fritters. It was fun and challenging at the same time. I enjoyed it. Basically, you do a batter, cut some fruits up, put in flour then dip it in the batter and then u just fry it. Simple.
Prepared fruits placed on a towel to soak up excess water then placed into the batter

Fruits being fried.
Some sauces were made in the process of all this to accompany this dish. Naturally, because it is, anyhow, a dessert. So some strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce and some vanilla cream was made. As expected, the end result is great.

Simple but elegant!

This is actually bacon with potatoes, eggs and onions which I cooked for my supper the other night. Just thought I would share.
I LOVE COOKING!
PS: To those people who tagged me, I'm so sorry, I'm kinda lazy to do tags. Comment! (4) | Recommend! Monday. 8.25.08 10:08 am Is a disgusting yet fun thing. I had to insert my hand into the ass on a chicken to dig out the innards today. Imagine that. O.o Digging and digging and more digging. It's like mining for gold, except that it's quite disgusting. Actually not that bad, I'm just exaggerating ( shit i forgot ho to spell, correct me pls). Next was trussing the chicken with treads, it's actually kinda like sewing it together so that everything holds firmly to get an even roast.
I had larder class after butchery. We did some potato cookery. Mashed potatoes, croquette potatoes, duchess potatoes, baked jacket potatoes, pommes lyonnaise and chateau potatoes. (pommes lyonnaise is actually saute potatoes with onions but the other words sounds more fancy, do the math).
Tell you what, I'll give you all some pics so you all can salivate over it. HAhHAhA.

These are everything that we've done in less than 4 hours
Enjoy!! Comment! (3) | Recommend! Something Interesting for A Change Saturday, August 23, 2008 College is a way DIFFERENT experience than secondary school. It's a damn sure thing. The experiences you get is so fun that it totally shoves secondary school aside. I cant deny that I also had a lot of fun during secondary school and picked up memories that I'll cherish my whole life but college is cool because we are loving what we're learning rather than having useless education shoved down our throats. That's the difference between college and secondary school.
For those who still doesn't know, I'm currently pursuing a Diploma in Culinary Arts and I LOVE IT! I've been quite inactive for awhile as I was busy preparing and being nervous about college but now that I'm here, it's not that bad after all. My lecturers are cool and fun going. I actually love and look forward to my subjects compared to hating it back in secondary school.
In other words, I LOVE COLLEGE! Comment! (3) | Recommend! Thursday, July 3, 2008 I havent had double post's in a day for quite some time already( well if you consider it the same day... It's 22 minutes past midnight)
Well anyway, I just watched a singaporean move called Ah Long PTD... It's some hilarious shit!!! It's basically about loan sharks and how they deal with stuff and how the new leader ( a woman, weird how they like to use this as a big deal in the past few movies) tries to change how they actually treaten to collect debts by using gentle ways instead of the well known violence. Stirred some hilarious and humourous things like weird fat dancers trying to humiliate debtors into paying by singing about him owing money in public.
This is one movie I aint gonna forget for a while... 3 cheers to Jack Neo... Another great movie by him.. AGAIN! Comment! (7) | Recommend! I Wonder What Happened.... Wednesday, July 2, 2008 Must be what everyone is thinking about me because I didnt update ( or not...). Well... Truth is, I've been feeling extremely lazy to open up my page and start blogging whatever I can get mainly cause... I'm just lazy... Heheeh.
By the way, I've made up my mind at last. I decided to go to KDU for their Diploma in Culinary Arts and it'll be 3 years till I graduate. The intake will be on the 7th of August this year so, I'm counting my free days till I'm back studying again, but this time with a twist, I'm studying something I actually like and am interested in rather than something that's shoved, I repeat, SHOVED, down your throat by the government. There's just not enough education freedom in highschool. And they expect the stupids to excel when the subjects they make the students study are not even sparking any interest of heart.
Well anyway, I kinda look forward to college. It's a whole new experience and I'm actually a little nervous too. Who wont be? Comment! (5) | Recommend! Wednesday, April 23, 2008 I've just woke up after sleeping for 8 hours... Which is from 5.00 am till now, 1.00 pm.
I was watching the Liverpool-Chelsea match yesterday and boy was it frustrating. Just when you think Liverpool has bagged the first leg of the semi finals game, someone has to score an own goal, and at the last minute at that. It was already in extra time which is an extra 4 minutes and that person scored the own goal at 4 minutes and 5 seconds into extra time. DAMNIT! Everyone was expecting a whistle for the end of the game, instead, they got a whistle for a goal. Now, their next game will start at no advantage to any team as the score is even.
Well, forget football, I'm not o fanatic about it.Truth is, I'm just finding something to write and fill in space here. My days now are quite nice. I'm back being active in tennis and it feels great. I need to shed all those extra weight I gained up in Genting when I was working. Days of glorious tennis playing under the sun is coming back to me. YeeHAAAaaA!!! Comment! (3) | Recommend! |
